| Ridgewood continued to dominate in girls' gymnastics as head coach Trisha
Piotrowski's Maroons routed Passaic Valley 103.25 - 85.25 with defending all-around state champion Chelsea Steinberg,
a junior, on the sidelines. It was the fourth straight win for unbeaten Ridgewood. |
| Junior Annie Martino, who did not win any of the four disciplines, claimed
first place in the all-around with a point score of 33.7 as she finished second in the balance beam (8.65) and
floor exercise (8.9), third in the vault (8.7) and fourth in the uneven bars (7.45). Another junior Christine Bennett
was third in the all-around when she accumulated a score of 29.85. |
| Senior Alyssa Ferraro did not compete in all the events but placed first
in the uneven bars (8.55) and vault (8.85) while freshman Mary Callaghan won the balance beam (8.7) and sophomore
Annie Polcari finished first in the floor exercise (9.15), posting the highest score of the competition. |
